July Bullet Journal Spreads
Mood Tracker, Spending Log, Weekly Spread & More!
MONTH-AT-A-GLANCE
The summer months definitely tend to be busier filming seasons for me so I wanted to create a two-page month-at-a-glance, with plenty of room for scheduling. Each day is 7x7 dots, and I used tombow dual brush markers (*991 and *772) to add a pop of colour to the spread!
To fill in the gaps around the calendar, I added a John Mayer lyric to the top of the right page that says, ““cause a little bit of summer is what the whole year is all about.” I also added a summer to-do/bucket list on the far right with things like make sangria, have a pool day, and take a walk somewhere new!
SPENDING TRACKER
I plan to be back in Toronto in July, so I feel like I need to get back into the habit of tracking my spending because I haven’t really been spending a whole lot back home— this spending tracker will help with that! This spread has a pretty minimal design and has a section designated for recording food, home, clothings/beauty, and other purchases. Since I knew the design was going to be pretty clean, I like that I added some skinny rectangles filled in with lines to make each section stand out!
MOOD TRACKER
This mood tracker is inspired by a doodle I created in a video a couple of weeks ago all about Procreate (click HERE to watch)— in that video I showed step-by-step how I create animated doodles and text. One of the doodles I animated was a glass of juice with a straw, so I thought this would make a great mood tracker! The cup is divided into 31 sections that will be filled in daily with a colour that corresponds to my mood that day— at the bottom of the cup I created a legend that lets me know which colour to use for each mood (happy, neutral, blue, and angry).
Since I’ll be visiting the mood tracker every day, I wanted to make the spread beside it also something that I could fill in daily; I thus created a 3-column chart with enough slots to fill in “something good that happened” each day in July. This spread works really well with the mood tracker because it is an activity that’ll reaffirm good-mood days, and help lighten not-so-good mood days!
WEEKLY SPREAD
I LOVE a vertical weekly spread! I switched things up for July by writing the day of the week horizontally on the left-side of each day’s designated rectangle. Each day also has mini habit tracker incorporated to the top of the rectangle— there’s a spot for tracking hydration, meditation, working out, and gratitude (represented by the letters H, M, W, and G).
