October BULLET JOURNAL Spreads

Month-At-A-Glance

Last month I was playing around with different spread designs and happened to rip up a piece of paper— when I layered them on top of each other I realized it reminded me of mummy-wrappings, so I stored the idea in my brain and decided to use the technique here to make a fun title page for October’s spreads.

I then  pasted in some *kraft paper to be the home to my calendar, and whipped out some stickers that I created with the help of my new *cutting machine! I’ve never made stickers before so it was so fun to draw some doodles on my iPad and see them come to life.

Habit Tracker & Spooky To-Do’s

The page on the left is my designated habit tracker for October! I did all of the white writing in this month’s spreads with a *white gelly roll in the size 10.

I really wanted to lean in on the halloween theme so I halloween-ified my habit categories. Hydrating is now “suck blood”, daily green smoothies are now “brew potions”, meditating is now having “mummy minutes” and reading is now “study spells.” I love me some good word play, so this page couldn’t make me happier— hopefully it’ll also inspire me to stick to good healthy habits this month.

On the right page, I felt like I really needed to match the left page’s cuteness level and theme, so I made it a designated spot to write down my “spooky to-do list” for the month filled with Halloween-themed movies, activities, and music.

Meal Planning

I’m using this left page to write down some fall themed recipes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner: pumpkin spice overnight oats, butternut squash soup, apple pie pancakes, and more!

Since the left page was dedicated to meal ideas, I felt like it was only fitting to make the right page a spot to do some actual meal planning. I created a basic table that has a spot to write down a breakfast, lunch, and dinner idea for two weeks in advance. I personally need to step up my meal planning game because I haven’t been as dedicated with it over the summer and I want to get back to really being intentional with my cooking and with what foods I put into my body…. meal planning can be a great way to do that.

Weekly Spread

It’s been a while since I’ve done something really fun in my weekly spread, but this one was a nice change of pace— I started by creating my boxes for each day of the week with my *black micron in 08, and *my pink grid ruler that has become a staple in my bullet journal toolkit!

I brought in some more kraft paper designs that I printed with my cutting machine— a haunted house, fence, and a ghost— I didn’t design these shapes myself but I thought they would make great additions to this spread and help bring over the theme of halloween and craft paper.
