NOVEMBER PLANNER SPREADS

Monthly Calendar & Habit Trackers

This month’s planner inspiration was a little bit more difficult to nail down, so I think the end result of all the spreads ended being more linked by tone than design. For this first spread I returned to a smaller calendar layout with accompanying habit trackers. To create the calendar and habit trackers, I used my micron in size 08 the finer details were completed with my Sharpie S-Gel pen.

The spice of this page comes in the form of wavy lines I made using the brush pen side of my Tombow dual-ended markers. I used the colours 992, 027, 026 and 837 which I think, together, become beautiful colour palette that will bridge fall and the more holiday colours coming to my journal in December. The wavy lines are also, obviously, a fairly quick design element to create so I definitely recommend it if you’re ever in a time crunch!

Reading List

It’s hard to believe we’re approaching the end of the year but there’s only two months left in 2021, so this first page on the left is going to be my final reading list of 2021. The reading list has a distinct section to write down fiction and non-fiction books— one of the books I’m probably going to tackle in November as we gear up to the holidays is Window Shopping by Tessa Bailey! She’s become one of my standout authors this year because her books are a great blend of spice, fun, and romance. I also have Jennifer L. Armentrout latest release on my TBR. On the non-fiction side of things, I have a book called “Think Like A Breadwinner” by Jennifer Barrett that I’ve been eyeing on my shelves for the past few months.

“Good Memory” Log

For the right page, I had initially thought I’d do another gratitude log but I was craving a switch up. So instead, I dedicated this page to writing down one memory a day that “feels like drinking a hot coffee.” AKA. A memory that brings about warm, good thoughts and is something I want to savour— I feel like it’d be fun to do a little searching in my brain for those memories that first come to mind as I reflect on this. It’s something a little different than what I’ve done in the past, and also feels like a fitting reflective exercise to begin the end-of-the-year self-reflection sessions I usually do.

Holiday Gift List & Ideas

If all my talk about the end of the year is starting to make you panic, then this next spread is going to really take you to full-on “what is happening and where does time go?” mode because this is my first holiday spread. It might seem early to be putting out a holiday spread before November has even arrived, but this spread is a place to record WHO I need to buy for, and gift ideas that pop into my head as I brainstorm. I’m planning on tackling my holiday gift shopping list early this year— ideally I’ll be done my shopping by December (we’ll see how that optimistic goal turns out lol), so it’s important to get planning asap.

Weekly Spread

Each day of the week gets its own horizontal section to write down basic to-dos, events, reminders, etc.— you know the weekly planner drill— and that was pretty much it. Looking back I wish I would have whipped out my white belly roll pen to sprinkle in some white doodles, but all in all I think this was a success!
